This matter comes before the court on a rule to show cause why a judg*384ment of nonpros entered against plaintiff, William J. Flynn, in an action of replevin should not be opened and plaintiff allowed to proceed.

The record discloses that on July 13, 1950, plaintiff filed an affidavit of value listing the property claimed and stating the value of each item claimed and also filed his bond.
