Supreme Court of Arkansas

Decided February 16, 1920PublishedCited by 7 opinions

Appeal from Columbia Chancery Court; J. M. Barber, Chancellor; 1. The bonds were issued without authority of law and therefore void, as there was no election at which directors could be authorized to issue the bonds. Rural special school districts were not to be governed by the laws of special school districts except as provided for in the act. The Acts 1909 and 1911, Acts No. 321 and No. 169, support our contention.
