Plaintiff prays in his petition for a judgment against the defendant for the amount of a note executed by the defendant on January 31, 1929, for the sum of $319, with interest thereon at 8 per cent per annum from May 1, 1930, and 10 per cent additional for attorneys fees, which note was due on February 1, 1932, and is secured by special mortgage on certain property in the parish of Calcasieu. Plaintiff alleges that he paid taxes on the mortgaged property for the years 1932 to 1936 inclusive amounting to $23.73, and he asks that said amount be included in the mortgage debt, and that…
