This action originated as a petition for a writ of habeas corpus. After reviewing the petition and the record, we conclude that the petition shall be construed as a petition for leave to appeal a nonfinal order, which we grant.

The major issue in this case relates to a portion of the mental health act relating to involuntary continuation of a juvenile’s stay at an inpatient facility after his fourteenth birthday.
