WELLS, Judge.

Celebrity Cruises, Inc., the defendant in this negligence action brought by an injured seaman, appeals from a defáult final judgment entered after its pleadings were stricken as a discovery sanction. Because the sanction order was entered without prior notice or opportunity to be heard, we reverse the judgment predicated on it and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
