Appellant Ricky Lee Scott appeals the judgment of the Cross County Circuit Court convicting him of first-degree murder and sentencing him to a term of fife imprisonment. Our jurisdiction of this appeal is pursuant to Ark. Sup. Ct. R. 1-2(a)(2). For reversal, Appellant argues that the trial court erred in denying his motion to dismiss for violation of his right to a speedy trial. We find no error and affirm.
