This is a case of personal injury sustained by the plaintiff, while in the employ of the defendant, by the breaking of a trolley wire which he was attempting to draw into position by means of a block and tackle. The span wire, which stretched from poles on the side of the street to the trolley wire, had become unfastened from the trolley wire at a curve, in consequence of which the trolley wire had sagged, while the span wire had fallen upon the ground.
