The record in this case is quite voluminous, and considerable evidence introduced upon the trial has little or no direct bearing upon the issues involved.

The facts antedating the controversy may be briefly summarized. Appellee, Charles Roller, was a blacksmith’ during the early part of his life; and after moving from Philadelphia, where he and decedent were married, he worked in Iowa at his trade at various places, either renting or purchasing a shop, according to his convenience.
