DORMAN, Chief Judge:

The appellant was tried by special court-martial composed of a military judge, sitting alone. Pursuant to his pleas, the appellant was convicted of conspiracy to possess lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) with the intent to distribute it; single specifications of the use, possession, distribution, and introduction of LSD; and single specifications of the use and possession of marijuana. The appellant’s offenses violate Articles 81 and 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 881 and 912a. The adjudged and approved sentence includes confinement for 100 *805days,…
