On the evening of October 31, 1941, the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Twin Falls, Idaho, held a Halloween party at the home of one of its members about a mile north of Hansen, Idaho, on what is locally known as the Hansen Bridge Road. Respondent, Mabel M. Bellville, drove her car to this party taking along with her, as gratuitous guests, Mrs. Ella P. George, Mrs. Bessie Weinrich, Mrs. Temple Dawson and Mrs. Belle Green.
