This is a petition for certiorari, brought under the provisions of general laws 1938, chapter 342, to review and quash the decision of the respondent board granting the application of Grossmans of R. I., Inc. for an exception or variance from the provisions of the zoning ordinance of the city of Warwick so as to permit the erection of a 50-foot by 60-foot building for the housing of building materials and for the storage of lumber in the open on lots numbered 1 to 6 inclusive, 10, 11, 19, 20, 25 and 26 on tax assessors’ plat 345.
