Plaintiff Board of Education of Park Forest-Chicago Heights School District No. 163, Cook County, Illinois (Board of Education or Board), filed a complaint for administrative review seeking to reverse a decision by defendant State Teacher Certification Board that overturned the suspension of defendant Michael DuBose’s teaching certificate. The circuit court reversed the decision of the Certification Board and held that DuBose’s teaching certificate should be suspended for one year. DuBose appeals that determination. For the following…
