Greene, J.:

Jaime Raul Lopez III appeals his conviction of aggravated batteiy, challenging the sufficiency of the evidence and the district court’s assessment of costs, expenses, and attorney fees. We affirm his conviction but reverse and remand for further proceedings on the award of costs and attorney fees.
