This was an action of forcible entry and detainer, brought by George W. Best against William L. Frazier.

A contest between tire parties was on May 9, 1898, terminated adversely to Best. On July 1, 1898, Best instituted further proceedings, charging. Frazier with noncompliance with the law as to residence since the former hearing..
