PER CURIAM. *

11 This disciplinary matter arises from formal charges filed by the Office of Disciplinary Counsel (“ODC”) against respondent, Samuel H. Thomas, an attorney licensed to practice law in Louisiana but currently on interim suspension pursuant to a joint motion of the parties filed in December 2007. In re: Thomas, 07-2326 (La.12/12/07), 970 So.2d 960. For the reasons discussed in this opinion, we now permanently disbar respondent.
