BARD, District Judge.

This is an action brought under the National Service Life Insurance Act1 and the World War Veterans’ Act2 to recover the proceeds payable under a National Service Life Insurance contract. It is now before me on plaintiff’s motion for summary judgment and on defendant’s motiton for summary judgment in favor of additional defendant.
