BARNES, Presiding Judge.

This case considers whether the resignation of a limited liability company’s registered agent for service of process becomes effective 31 days after the resignation was “received” by the Secretary of State’s office, or 31 days after the resignation was subsequently stamped “filed” by the Secretary’s office. We hold that the former date controls, and that the document was filed on the date it was received by the Secretary.
