OPINION OF THE COURT

SNYDER, Senior Judge:

Pursuant to his pleas, appellant was convicted by general court-martial of multiple *776wrongful uses of marijuana and cocaine, absence without leave (AWOL), and issuing insufficient funds checks with intent to defraud. Articles 112a, 86, and 123a, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. §§ 912a, 886, and 923a. The military judge sentenced him to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement for 30 months, total forfeitures, and reduction to E-l.
