In the' afternoon of a bright, dry day, Vernon Stockfisch, 16 years old, five feet six inches in height, weighing 120 pounds, was riding* a bicycle westerly on an 18-foot paved highway. On the bicycle with him was a boy, seven years old, weighing about 40 pounds.
