MEMORANDUM

This adversary proceeding was initiated by the debtor Betty Faye Stephenson’s complaint to avoid a judicial lien pursuant to 11 U.S.C. § 522(f)(1). The defendant, General Motors Acceptance Corporation (hereinafter “General Motors”), essentially contends that the debtor’s complaint was not timely filed. A hearing on this matter was held on January 6, 1982.
