OPINION BY

BECK, J.

¶ 1 Appellant Henry Williams, convicted in a bench trial of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of an instrument of crime (PIC), brings this timely direct appeal from judgment of sentence. On April 12, 2001, the court of common pleas, Philadelphia County, sentenced appellant to a mandatory term of imprisonment of one to two years.
