The appellants, Byron G. Bishop and Sarah Bishop, on June 4, 1951, filed an amended declaration claiming title to land by adverse possession, in an action of trespass quare clausum fregit against the defendant, appellee, Walter Staekus. At the end of the testimony the trial judge directed a verdict for the defendant. From the judgment entered on that verdict, the appellants appeal.

The facts are substantially as follows. In Septemeber, 1930, the plaintiffs, appellants, purchased Lot No. 11 on Plat No. 1, Lutherville, in Lutherville, Baltimore County. They promptly contracted to have a house…
