This is an appeal from a judgment of the Superior Court of Cook county against appellant, City of Chicago, defendant below (and hereinafter referred to as defendant), in favor of appellee, Julia O’Donoghue, plaintiff below (and hereinafter referred to as plaintiff), in an action of trespass on the case to recover damages for injuries sustained by her as a result of falling on a wooden sidewalk alleged to have been defective.
