MEMORANDUM OPINION ON DEBTOR’S APPLICATION FOR WAIVER OF CHAPTER 7 FILING FEE AND ON UNITED STATES TRUSTEE’S OBJECTION

Pending before the Court is the debtor’s application for waiver of the chapter 7 filing fee and the United States Trustee’s objection to that application. At issue is whether the debtor is entitled to the In Forma Pauperis (IFP) waiver of the chapter 7 filing fee despite the fact that the debtor has paid $100.00 to her attorney. Based on the analysis below, the United States Trustee’s objection will be denied and the debtor’s IFP application…
