Defendant, John Chyc, was tried and convicted in the Jackson county circuit court of violating the prohibition law under an information containing two counts. The first charged unlawful possession of a quantity of intoxicating liquor, called moonshine whisky, on January 21, 1921, at Leoni township in said county, and the second charged that at the same time and place he was unlawfully transporting said liquor.
