Defendant, Claire Christine Welsh, appeals the judgment of conviction entered on a jury verdict finding her guilty of first degree mur der. The People cross-appeal, challenging two rulings made by the trial court. We affirm the judgment, dismiss the cross-appeal as to one ruling, and approve the second ruling.
