Defendant, Alvin Neighbors, was charged in the district court of Tulsa county with the crime of murder. He was tried, convicted of manslaughter in the first degree and sentenced to serve a term of 20 years in the State Penitentiary, and has appealed.
The only assignment of error relied upon by defendant for a reversal of this case is error of the court in refusing to grant counsel, appointed by the court, a reasonable time to prepare for trial, to the end that they might intelligently and properly represent the defendant, and thereby forced, coerced and intimidated the defendant into waiving…
