Arraigned and tried before a special court-martial convened at Yokota Air Base, Japan, on September 27, 1963, the accused pleaded guilty to, and was convicted of, three specifications of larceny, in violation of Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 121, 10 USC § 921. He was sentenced to bad-conduct discharge, forfeiture of $30.00 per month for three months, confinement at hard labor for three months, and reduction to the grade of Airman Basic.
