Defendant, Douglas Edward Meeboer, appeals as of right from a jury conviction of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, MCL 750.520b(1)(a); MSA 28.788(2)(1)(a), for the rape of a six-year-old girl whom we shall identify as "Amy.” On appeal to this Court, defendant’s conviction was affirmed. People v Meeboer, unpub*367lished per curiam opinion of the Court of Appeals, decided April 6, 1988 (Docket No. 97072). On application for leave to appeal, the Supreme Court, in lieu of granting leave to appeal, remanded for reconsideration in light of People v LaLone, 432 Mich 103; 437 NW2d 611 (1989). 432…
