The plaintiff, Paul Dautremont, appeals from the district court’s 1 order granting summary judgment in favor of the defendants, Broadlawns Hospital and two of its employee doctors, in this action brought pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Dautremont’s pro se complaint was construed to contend that he was denied due process during three involuntary hospitalizations at the municipal hospital’s mental ward when officials administered psychotherapeutic drugs against his will while he was hospitalized for unnecessarily extended periods of time.
