The appellant, the widow of veteran Ed M. Vaughn, sought review, through counsel, of a June 2, 2000, decision of the Board of Veterans’ Appeals (Board or BVA) that, inter alia, denied Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) service connection for the cause of the veteran’s death.
