| STATEMENT of the case

On May 30, 2006, the Jefferson Parish District Attorney filed a bill of information, charging defendant, Eric Richardson, with possession with intent to distribute heroin in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966(A). De fendant was arraigned on June 1, 2006, and pled not guilty to this charge.
