Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Beldock, J.), rendered May 27, 1987, convicting him of robbery in the second degree and criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

On appeal the defendant contends that the prosecution failed to adduce legally sufficient evidence that the complainant suffered a “physical injury” as defined in Penal Law § 10.00 (9) in order to sustain a finding of guilty of robbery in the second degree (Penal Law § 160.10 [2] [a]). We…
