— This is a suit to enforce the lien of a certain special tax bill for sidewalks constructed in front of defendant’s property in Kansas City. The cause was tried by the court sitting as a jury, resulting in a judgment for plaintiff and defendant appealed.
I, The tax bill is attacked, mainly on the ground *619that the ordinance directing the • improvement was void because not passed at a legal meeting of the city council. We proceed to dispose of this objection before considering others.
