Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Warren County (Moynihan, Jr., J.), rendered May 5, 1993, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.

On March 31, 1991, State Trooper Michael Palma stopped a blue four-door sedan driven by Jeffrey Blair registered in Massachusetts for speeding at 78 miles per hour on the Northway in the Town of Bolton, Warren County.
