Counsel for Targin Sign Systems, Inc. (“Targin”) has noticed up for presentment on June 3, 2010 a bulky document captioned “Plaintiffs Local Rule 40.4 Motion To Reassign Case No. 1:10-CV-01423 as Related to This Case.” Because that motion reflects a misapprehension of both the language and the purpose of LR 40.4, this memorandum opinion and order is being issued now, to spare numerous counsel 1 the need to come to court just to be apprised of the denial of the motion.
