Collins v. Tarrant County

This is a companion case to Joe M. Collins et al. v. Tarrant County (No. 9985) 242 S. W. 1103, this day decided by us, and the issues in this case are the same as those in the former case, except that the trial court gave judgment for $936.13, as interest from the end of the fiscal year to the date of the trial. The judgment rendered against Joe M. Collins was for $5,315.98, principal, with interest at 6 per cent, on $2,865.60 from the 1st day of December, 1917, and interest on the balance of said amount, to wit, $2,630.38, at 6 per cent, per annum from the 1st day of December, 1918.
