MEMORANDUM OF DECISION AND ORDER GRANTING PLAINTIFFS’ MOTION FOR CERTIFICATION OF PLAINTIFF CLASS

This matter comes before the Court on Plaintiffs’ Motion for Certification of Plaintiff Class. Plaintiffs receive, or have received, assistance through the Aid to Families With Dependent Children (AFDC) Program. As a condition of receiving AFDC benefits, each Plaintiff assigned her right to child support payments to the Maine Department of Human Services (DHS).
