This is a diversity insurance coverage lawsuit under Kentucky law arising from the October 2001 death of a teenage boy from injuries that he suffered while riding on a float that had just completed a town parade route in Nicholasville, Kentucky. The decedent’s family (“Estate”) filed suit in state court against a variety of defendants, including the local Chamber of Commerce (“Chamber”) that had organized the parade.
