The appellee, Amelia L. Bass, sued the appellant for slander. Upon trial of an issue formed by an answer in denial, a jury returned a verdict for the appellee, assessing her damages in the sum of $55.00. A motion in arrest was overruled, and judgment was rendered on the verdict.
The alleged errors assigned are, that the- complaint does not state facts sufficient to constitute a cause of action, and that the court erred in overruling the appellant’s motion in arrest of judgment.
