This is an original proceeding for mandamus, in which it is sought to compel the- respondent, as county clerk of Cook county, to prepare a notice, in the manner provided by the general election laws, at least twenty days before May 17, 1915, of a primary election for the nomination of candidates for the office of judge of the Supreme Court for the seventh district, for the office's of judges of the circuit court of Cook county and for the office of judge of the superior court of Cook county, to be voted for at the election to be held on the first Monday in June, 1915, said primary to be held…
