DIAMANTIS, Judge.

The state appeals the order entered by the trial court dismissing the charges of possession of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD)1 and possession of marijuana2 which were filed against appellee, Christopher Sargent. The trial court dismissed these charges because it concluded that the state’s use of a confidential informant (Cl) to help establish its case against Sargent either violated Sargent’s due process rights or constituted objective entrapment.
