The plaintiff, Susie Wells, brought this suit as administratrix of the estate of her deceased son, Floyd Wells, to recover damages for his death, alleged to be due to the negligence of defendant. His death occurred on December 2, 1922, at Woolsey, Arkansas, while he was employed by the Director General of Railroads as locomotive fireman of an interstate freight train of the St. Louis-San Francisco Railway Company, running from Monett, Missouri, to Ft.
