Appeal from a decree of the Circuit Court, No. 2, of Baltimore City (Dennis, J.), directing specific performance of the contract to purchase the land in question. The “ Trustees of the Samuel Ready Asylum for Female Orphans ” were incorporated by the Act of 1864, ch. 102, and the corporate name was changed by the Act of 1894, ch. 135, to “The Trustees of the Samuel Ready School for Female Orphans.” Mr. Ready died in 1871, leaving the will referred to in the opinion of the Court. The decision of this case depends upon the construction to be placed upon the I ith and 12th clauses of the last will and testament of Samuel Ready, late of Baltimore City, deceased.
The object of the bill is to compel the specific performance of a contract of sale, made on the 25th of October, 1901, between the appellant and appellee, of a vacant lot of ground situate in Baltimore City.
