JENKINS, J,

On June 22,2007, a health inspector and police officer discovered marijuana and marijuana residue while executing an administrative warrant at defendants’ residence. The officer returned with a search warrant, and defendants were arrested and charged with drug-related offenses.

On April 17, 2008, following an evidentiary hearing, the court denied defendants’ motions to suppress all evidence seized during the searches. On July 21, 2008, after a non-jury trial, the court found both defendants guilty of possession of a small amount of marijuana under the Controlled Substance Act. On…
