Plaintiff, Lake Shore Riding Academy, Inc., brought action against defendants Richard J. Daley as mayor, Marshall Korshak as city collector, and City of Chicago, a municipal corporation, to enjoin enforcement against plaintiff of the provisions of an ordinance which prohibits the operation of a livery stable within 400 feet of a school and a church.
