RUDDY, Judge.

Defendant appeals from a judgment of the Circuit Court denying his cross-bill for a divorce and directing him to pay plaintiff $21 per week for separate maintenance pursuant to the prayer of her petition.

Plaintiff alleged in her petition that she and defendant were married January 14, 1939, and lived together as man and wife until on or about June 1, 1959, when she entered a hospital for treatment of a mental illness; that after her release from the hospital she was ready, willing, and able to resume her place as defendant’s wife; that defendant abandoned her and refused to…
