On January 23, 2015, the Appellant Yama Raj (“Raj” or “the Appellant”) commenced the present appeal from an order of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York (the “Bankruptcy Court”), contending that the Bankruptcy Court’s refusal to vacate its own prior order, which inter alia confirmed the Appellant’s purchase of certain real property in a bankruptcy sale, was an abuse of discretion.
