Plaintiff, individually and as administratrix of the estate of Frank J. Izzo, commenced this action for wrongful death and conscious pain and suffering based on medical and pharmaceutical malpractice against various physicians, nurses and pharmacies. She alleges that the death of the decedent, her husband, was caused by acute drug intoxication brought about by his ingestion of controlled substances.
