MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER REGARDING SENTENCING

Defendant Gary M. Visser came before me for sentencing on April 6, 2009, on his guilty plea, without a plea agreement, to a “felon in possession of a firearm” charge in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 922(g)(1) and 924(a)(2) involving possession of eleven firearms after conviction, in 1994, on a state charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (third offense).
